Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026. FYP is a small, independent newsletter. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
What we collect
Your email address; your name (optional); the topics and interests you choose; how often you want the newsletter; and the timestamp of your consent. We also keep a short list of stories already sent to you, so we don't repeat them.
Why, and our lawful basis
We use this only to build and send your personal newsletter. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box at signup and confirming via the email link (double opt-in). You can withdraw it at any time.
Who can see it
No one but us. We don't sell, rent, or share your data for advertising. Your data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) and emails are delivered through Gmail; both act only as processors on our behalf.
How long we keep it
For as long as you're subscribed. The "already sent" history is automatically pruned after 30 days. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To exercise any other right, just reply to a newsletter or email us.
